Looking for the perfect lunch place between lectures? Also then is Majs café the place for you. Every Monday through Friday sees two dishes served, one of which is always vegetarian, and both including salad, bread and beverage. And one mustn?t miss is once a month, usually on the last Friday, when those that are interested in norrlandic quisine get a chance to try our famous palt! As a member of the nation you?ll also receive a discount on your lunch!
 
And what would be really a café without a proper chance to fika? Every day is baked new and tasty cakes which are ideal for that cup of coffee. And if you prefer it a modern espresso machine lets you get a latte, espresso or cappuccino instead. Majs also carries all of the largest daily newspapers and magazines from Norrland. Trust us when we say that getting to browse Haparandabladet or the Sundsvall newspaper over a cup of coffee is never wrong. As a member of Norrlands you get a discount on the coffee all day!
 
Not to be forgotten is that as that once we?re in to the semester Majs café, as the only nation café in Uppsala, stay open on Tuesday evenings. It?s perfect when you're studying late or going to the cinema.
 
Majs café is run by about ten volunteer students taking time from their studies to work as café attendants.
